5 Habits That Have Great Return On Investment – Part 5

If you have decided to make changes in your life, but you are unsure of where to start, then you might wish to focus on the following 5 short habits. These habits are easy to implement but when added to your daily routine they can help you transform how you feel. Creating a better life for yourself is all about implementing these short practices and reaping the benefits of them.

  1. Clear your space

Before you start your work day you should try to clean and declutter your workspace. A cluttered space is a cluttered mind, so either at the end of your work day or the start of the next one take some time to clear your space.

  1. Gratitude

Showing gratitude and appreciating the small stuff can help you become more present in your everyday life. By showing appreciation you will quickly begin to feel happier and you will start observing all the positive changes around you.

  1. Consistent walking

You might have heard about walking 10,000 steps a day, and while that is nice it is not possible for everyone. Instead, try to aim for walking daily. This is a smaller habit that you can build a lot faster.

  1. Block out Distractions

When it comes to distractions it is up to you to block them and stop them from affecting you. If you want to be more productive then reduce the distractions in your space and start working faster and more effectively.

  1. Don’t become victim to the way things are

Many people grow used to how things are and don’t try to grow or change things in the long run. Changing things up once a month will stop you from falling into patterns and will challenge your brain to do something that is out of the ordinary for you.
